Alberta Sport Plan

The Province of Alberta sought  input from individual Albertans on the document A New Century for Amateur Sport – From Participation to Excellence. There are 19 priority actions contained in the report, and individuals were invited to provide feedback and tell us the importance of the actions identified in the Alberta sport plan.

A New Century for Amateur Sport – From Participation to Excellence was prepared by the Alberta Sport Plan Task Force and facilitated by the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation, as requested by the Minister of Alberta Community Development, Gene Zwozdesky, in response to federal initiatives to create a new Canadian Sport Policy.
