Project History

In 1995, Jim Byrne and Dawna Cerney donated this land to the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation with the intention that the land be enhanced and maintained as waterfowl and wildlife habitat. Park Lake

Driving Directions From Edmonton

Head South on Highway 2 until you reach Highway 3 and then head East toward Fort McLeod and Lethbridge, Alberta. Continue East into Coalhurst, Alberta and turn North (left) on Range Road 22-4. Continue traveling North on Range Road 22-4 for approximately 5 km (3 miles) and turn East (right) on Township Road 10-0. Continue for 1.5 km (1 mile) and turn North (left) onto Range Road 22-3. Drive 2 km (1.5 miles) and the property will be on the right hand side of the road past a subdivision.
