Birch Coulee

Project History

In 1997, the Alberta Fish and Game Association, Alberta Sustainable Resource Development and the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation purchased this land. The land is to be maintained in its natural condition as a wildlife habitat area for the benefit of waterfowl and other wildlife and it not to be exploited for agricultural, commercial, industrial or other developmental purposes. Driving Directions From Edmonton

Head East on Highway 16 until just past Innisfree, Alberta. At Range Road 111 turn North (left) for approximately 3 km (2miles). On Township Road 512 turn East (right) and continue for 1.5 km (1mile). The property is on the South side of the road.
